The international series (previous conferences in Ireland, Norway, Germany, Spain, and Austria) will return to Dublin with the upcoming New Perspectives on Irish English 9  to be held at the Marino Institute of Education from the 21st to 22nd May 2026, in cooperation with scholars from UCD.

The conference will serve as a platform for Irish English scholars to discuss current research issues. The conference welcomes contributions on areas such as Irish English historical linguistics, dialectology, pragmatics, corpus linguistics, sociolinguistics, and/or literary/media representations, but it is not restricted to these areas.
